As one of Accounting Today’s “Top 100 Largest Public Accounting Firms” and recipient of an unqualified peer review report for quality control, Kemper CPA Group LLP strives to reward eligible employees with a benefits package competitive with those of other large CPA firms. Our benefits package includes:
Full-time employees who have attained age 21 and have completed one year of service with Kemper CPA Group LLP are eligible to participate in the Firm’s 401(k) profit sharing plan. The Firm may make discretionary annual contributions to this qualified defined contribution plan.
The Firm offers group medical and dental coverage to all full-time employees, with the majority of the cost of the premium paid by the Firm. Employees’ dependents can also be covered under the plan, with a portion of the additional premium paid by the Firm.
The cafeteria plan allows employees to shelter part of their income from taxes by choosing from a list of tax-free fringe benefits, including medical and dental insurance premiums, medical expense reimbursement, and dependent care reimbursement.
Full-time employees are eligible for the life insurance, with premiums paid in full by the Firm.
Full-time employees with at least one year of service to the Firm are covered by the Firm’s short-term disability program.
The Firm offers long-term disability insurance for employees who wish to participate.
The Firm provides Paid Time Off (PTO) to eligible employees to maintain earnings during absences. The PTO program combines the traditional programs of paid vacation, personal days, and sick pay into one policy. PTO is accumulated monthly, depending on years of employment with the Firm.
The Firm will observe six paid holidays and a floating holiday.
To encourage its employees to actively seek new clients, the Firm offers a new business incentive bonus. The bonus is equal to a percentage of the first year’s cash collections from the client, provided the new client meets the conditions of the plan.
In order to promote continued learning, employees are encouraged to participate in 40 hours of qualified continuing education courses annually at the Firm’s expense.
The Firm expects most of its professional staff members to obtain their CPA certificates as soon as they are able to qualify and will pay $1,000 to successful candidates to help defray their expenses in taking the examination.
The Firm encourages partnership in state CPA societies and in the AICPA and will pay the annual dues for each qualified staff member in these societies.
Employees may arrange alternative, flexible work arrangements with their supervisors in order to accommodate personal and family circumstances.
