Job Summary

Kemper Technology Consulting is seeking a qualified applicant to install and support accounting (QuickBooks and Sage) and related software products sold and supported by Kemper Technology Consulting.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan and carry out new client installation and training engagements
  • Provide telephone and onsite support to existing clients as required
  • Plan and deliver periodic upgrade installations, support, and training to existing clients
  • Assist senior staff and partners with preparation of quotes and research as requested
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • Attain Certified Consultant Status for Intuit QuickBooks and other products as requested

Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of computer systems and their use
  • Troubleshooting abilities, including the ability to effectively troubleshoot unknown software systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products including Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
  • Knowledge of payroll processes
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Accounting - or experience equivalent
  • QuickBooks certifications would be a plus
