Software Developer

Kemper Technology Consulting, a division of Kemper CPA Group LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm, is a multifaceted regional CPA firm with 26 offices in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and California. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an Software Developer position in our Greenfield, Indiana office. 

This person must be a highly self-motivated individual who receives direction well and enjoys working as part of a team. The Qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. The successful candidate must be authorized to work on a full-time basis for any employer in the United States. Kemper Technology Consulting is a division of Kemper CPA Group LLP, and service businesses in Illinois, Indiana, California, and Kentucky.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in code reviews with other developers to provide feedback and ensure best practices.
  • Contribute to and update documentation on your processes.
  • Convert code between frameworks and development styles.
  • Develop and implement production ready code.
  • Effectively troubleshoot bugs and test resolutions.
  • Consulting with clients.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years professional experience on a development team.
  • 3+ years ASP.NET & C#.
  • Experience developing and working with RESTful API’s
  • Familiarity with React (or similar frontend framework)
  • Understanding of relational database design principles. 
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance. 

Nice to Have 

  • Understanding of Power Automate and PowerBI.
  • Experience writing reports with tools such as SSRS and Crystal Reports. 
  • Understanding of Microsoft Access and Excel VBA.
