Kemper Technology Consulting, a division of Kemper CPA Group LLP, a top 100 public accounting firm, is a multifaceted regional CPA firm with 26 offices in Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and California. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a QuickBooks Specialist position in our Greenfield, Indiana office.
This person must be a highly self-motivated individual who takes direction well and enjoys working as part of a team. The Qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position. The successful candidate must be authorized to work on a full-time basis for any employer in the United States. This candidate will install, and support accounting (QuickBooks and Sage) and related software products sold and supported by Kemper Technology Consulting. Kemper Technology Consulting is a division of Kemper CPA Group LLP, and service businesses in Illinois, Indiana, California, and Kentucky.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan and carry out new client installation and training engagements
- Provide telephone and onsite support to existing clients as required
- Plan and deliver periodic upgrade installations, support, and training to existing clients
- Assist senior staff and partners with preparation of quotes and research as requested
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Attain Certified Consultant Status for Intuit QuickBooks and other products as requested
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in accounting - or experience equivalent
- Knowledge of computer systems and their use
- Troubleshooting abilities, including the ability to effectively troubleshoot unknown software systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft products including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
- Knowledge of payroll processes
- QuickBooks certifications is a plus
