April 15th is still an important date.  Despite the recent news of the IRS extending the federal tax deadline, our tax professionals are working hard to complete client tax returns by the original April 15th deadline to the extent possible.  Numerous states have an unchanged April 15th filing deadline, and 1st quarter 2021 estimated tax payments are still due April 15th.  Your 2020 tax information is key to accurately determining refunds due or amounts owed for the state returns and quarterly estimated tax payments.  For these reasons, we encourage our individual tax clients to submit your tax information to us as soon as possible.  We remain committed to you and the original April 15th filing date, and our team members share in that commitment.
